The Hair Strand is a welcoming, family-oriented salon located in Cedar Plaza in Paradise. Our salon is built on years of experience teamwork, and a genuine love for creating beautiful hair.
We love serving our clients from Paradise, Mount Pearl, St. John's, and beyond! It's our goal to have you feeling comfortable and taken care of while you're here, and feeling confident when you leave the chair.

Nestled beside Elizabeth Park in Paradise, The Hair Strand has been a welcoming place for great hair and genuine connection for many years.
Since taking ownership in 2020, our owner, Lois has been proud to carry the salon forward with the same care, warmth, and sense of community that guests have always known. With nearly four decades behind the chair and over 25 years as a business owner, she's passionate about helping every guest feel confident while supporting a team that loves what they do.
Today, The Hair Strand continues to grow while staying true to what matters most: friendly faces, a comfortable atmosphere, and a salon where everyone feels welcome. Lois has been a stylist for over 37 years and has owned The Hair Strand for the past 6. She still loves what she does just as much as when she started!
Helping people feel good about themselves has always been at the heart of her work. That energy carries through our entire salon. We pride ourselves on being a salon that welcomes all!
